Is half board enough?

For most couples, yes. If you like a drink with every sunset, all-inclusive usually works out cheaper.

Can we combine the Maldives with Sri Lanka?

Very easily. A week in Sri Lanka's hill country and south coast followed by the Maldives is one of our favourite honeymoons.

A short, perfect stay on a single island we have chosen with care: a proper house reef, sunset-facing overwater villas, a seaplane transfer, and a resort that feels private without being remote for the sake of it.

There's nothing to organise once you arrive. The little extras are already arranged: a sandbank dinner on your last night, a couples' spa ritual and a sunset cruise to look for dolphins.
