Private & small-group journeys · Since 2009
Ladakh to Kerala, Bhutan to the Maldives. Every itinerary is drawn by a planner who has travelled it — and looked after by that same person until you're home.
We have driven the Manali–Leh highway forty-one times. We still stop at the same dhaba in Sarchu, and we still plan every journey as if it were our own.
GTB started in 2009 with one jeep, one driver and a notebook of guesthouse numbers between Manali and Leh. Today we're a studio of planners, guides and drivers in New Delhi, Leh and Kochi — still small enough that the founder reads every enquiry.
We don't sell seats on a bus. We plan private and small-group journeys, from a four-day yatra to a month across the Himalaya, and we only send you somewhere we'd happily go again ourselves.
Read our story(02)Where we go
From the Himalaya to the Indian Ocean. We only list a place once someone on the team has been back more than once.

(04)Why travel with us
Every itinerary is drawn by a planner who has travelled that route themselves — most of them more than once, several of them in the wrong season.
The person who answers your first message is the one who checks in on your last morning. No hand-offs to an operations desk.
Our average driver has worked with us for nine years. They know the roads, the weather and where the good chai is.
Permits, fees, taxes and tips for drivers are in the quote. If something isn't included, it says so on the first page.

The dhaba at Sarchu opens when the first trucks do. Two kulhads, a paratha, and a driver checking the sky over Baralacha La before anyone else is awake.

Pangong arrives all at once around a bend in the road: grey, then green, then a blue that looks edited. We stop the car and nobody says anything for a while.

Horns from the roof, butter tea passed down the rows, and a novice monk trying very hard not to laugh at the foreigner who sat on the wrong cushion.
Thiksey Monastery

No moon, no town lights for eighty kilometres. The Milky Way rises over the ridge like smoke. This is the part people describe to us for years afterwards.

We'd been to Ladakh before with a big operator and hated it. This time we had two days of doing nothing in Leh, the same driver throughout, and a night at Pangong I will be describing at dinner parties for the rest of my life.

Your turn
Tell us a month, a mood or a place you can't stop thinking about. A planner replies within one working day with questions, not a brochure.
